UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022. The two discussed the export venture and its possible expansion.
According to Guterres, he and Putin discussed efforts to overcome barriers related to Russian food and fertilizer exports. But he did not approve any progress toward an immediate end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
