BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID, PELAIHARY – H Abdul Hamid Zajidi, a cyclist from South Kalimantan (Kalsel) province, completed his intention to ride to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
He was a resident of Pelaihari town, Tanah Laut (Tala) Regency, South Kalimantan, on Monday (12/9/2022) afternoon, his family graciously released his departure.
This was also shown by his wife Marciati. This resident of Ambungan in Pelaihari district, even accompanied her husband during the caravan around Pelaihari town before leaving the town.
After leaving Tala Regency, Jajidi Tanah marched towards the town of Batulisin in Bumbu Regency (Tanbu). Next, take a boat to West Sulawesi, continue to South Sulawesi.

Then, go to Java, Jakarta, Merak, Bakauheni, Lampung, Riau Island. Continue past Batam to Singapore and Malaysia and then to Mecca in Spain.
Before her husband left the town of Pelaihari and then rode his bicycle alone to Mecca, Masriyati greeted him and kissed him. Then, Jajidi hugged him for a while. The emotional atmosphere also looks so real.
Despite being strong and open-minded, the middle-aged woman’s eyes filled with tears. “I am happy because of desire Sidin (He) achieved. I’ve always wanted to be like this, I can’t hold it in,” he said.
She said that since a year ago, her husband expressed his desire to go to Makkah only by bicycle.

“She said, looking for inspiration to write. Well, I can only support,” she said.
For her, her husband is considered a good thing, she will always provide support. Moreover, the mission to Mecca has something to do with the completion of a book on Islam.
“Actually, it’s hard to let go of this heart, but it (writing) is done SidinMasriyati said.
She can only pray for the best so that her husband’s journey goes smoothly, leaves and later returns to Pelaihari City, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province safe and sound.

The husband’s body, she admits, is quite strong despite his age of 52. Never got sick and really likes cycling and is used to long distances.
