INDOSPORT.COM – A total of 4 high schools have made it to the semifinals of the 2022 Red Bull Basketball Championship Grand Final basketball tournament.
Taking place at GOR Bulungan, South Jakarta, the Grand Final of the Red Bull Championships 2022 will be held on 10-11 September 2022.
For your information, previously the basketball competition for high school/equivalent level passed preliminary round in six major cities.
The six high school representatives that reached the grand final round include SMAN 116 Jakarta, SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, Methodist High School 2 Medan, SMAN 2 Surabaya, Oliphant High School Yogyakarta and Trinity High School Bandung.
On the first day of the 2022 Red Bull Basketball Championship Grand Finals, six high school representatives reunited for the preliminary round.
The preliminary round of the Grand Champion Group begins today with a duel between SMAN 116 Jakarta vs SMAN 2 Surabaya.
As if hungry for victory, the opening duel between SMAN 116 Jakarta and SMAN 2 Surabaya was very intense from the start of the match.
SMAN 116 Jakarta looked really mighty and succeeded in defeating SMAN 2 Surabaya with a winning score of 72-37.

Similar to the duel against SMA Trinity Bandung, SMA Oliphant Yogyakarta cruised to victory again with an absolute score of 58-48 against SMA Methodist 2 Medan.
Then today in the fifth match SMN 2 Surabaya faced SMN 1 Pekanbaru. Unlike SMAN 116 Jakarta at the start, SMAN 2 Surabaya’s performance actually increased quite quickly.
They managed to secure an outright victory over SMAN 1 Pekanbaru with a final score of 67-56. Finishing the preliminary round today, SMA Trinity Bandung met SMA Methodist 2 Medan.

In the second quarter, SMA Methodist 2 Medan was far behind SMA Trinity Bandung with a provisional score of 31-20.
Trinity High School insisted on Bandung, but Methodist 2 Medan High School had to swallow the bitter pill because. The final score shows that SMA Trinity Bandung is superior to SMA Methodist 2 Medan with a final score of 60-38.
