“Besides the budgetary issues, we need to prepare more carefully about other devices that support the use of electric vehicles, so it needs to be discussed with the members of the DPRD in Jember,” he said.

According to him, the Jember Regency Budget Team did not include the collection of electric vehicles in the draft regional regulations of the Jember APBD for fiscal year 2023, so it needs to be discussed together with the DPRD members.

“It is possible to try 1 or 2 electric cars first with the approval of council members, but what is certain is that the Jemba Regency government will review it first,” he said.

He explained that the Jemba Regency government is trying to create policies to save energy by issuing circular wind cycling to all ASNs from their homes to their offices.
