MAKASSAR, Upeks.co.id – A total of 170 runners and cyclists participated in the 2022 Pelindo Run and Ride held by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 4 with Pelindo Jasa Maritime Subholding (SPJM) in Makassar.
Regional Head 4 Pelindo, Enriani Muis said the running and cycling event which involved internal and external participants to enliven Pelindo Day which falls on October 1.
“As we all know, starting October 1, 2021, Pelindo I, II, III, and IV have merged into one Pelindo. To celebrate Pelindo Day earlier this month, we are conducting a series of activities, one of which is the Pelindo Run and Ride,” Enriani said
He said the event was held simultaneously in the four major Indonesian cities of Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya and Makassar, where Pelindo has regional offices in these four cities.
“Alhamdulillah, this event went smoothly in four cities, especially today in Makassar” [Sabtu]”
Apart from inculcating competitive spirit, this competitive event also inculcates sportsmanship in every participant. “Also, of course, we hope that through the 2022 Pelindo Run and Ride, we can make our bodies healthier and stronger,” he concluded. (mm)
